So Vividly So Desperately is a new collection with six songs and two instrumentals from good and bad days. It is available now at my new website, www.christianschormann.com.

For the next few month, all profits from sales on that site will be donated to support research on sturge weber syndrome, a serious and tough condition that affects children and adults. Since the discovery of the underlying cause of the syndrome earlier this year, there is now hope for a cure – please help to make it happen! I am deeply grateful for any support you can give.

The title song:

It’s like I can see the storm
Rising behind your eyes
I can see these dark clouds form
Hear words that drain with the rain in the skies
The lighting cloud freezes your smile
I fear for your heart it is beating so hard
And you’re gone for a while
To that world that is coming apart

And I remember that dream oh so vividly
Remember these heart beats so fast so desperately
Over that ocean I hope you’ll return to me too
Oh how I wish I could bear that cross for you

Lyrics are on the store pages.

Many thanks to the James Baldwin Estate for their friendly permission to use James Baldwin’s wonderful poem Amen as lyrics on this album, in support of this fund raising effort.

Again, thanks a lot for any support for finding a cure for Sturge-Weber Syndrome!

The Sight of an Angel

Entirely unrelated to my usual blog post topics:

The Sight of an Angel, a compilation of a few pieces of music I wrote between 1985 and 2010, is now available on Amazon and iTunes.

Feedback welcome.
